Designed specifically for E-bike use, the Magura MT5e E-bike Disc Brake is a premium, four-piston brake with an integrated lever for controlling the brake light and cutting the electric motor. Magura optimized The MT5e bike brakes to be used with Magura’s new MDR-C or MDR-P rotors. This allows for increased braking power that is able to hold up to the rigors of modern E-bike riding.The MagnetiXchange magnetic pad system allows for easy pad changing when it is time to replace used brake pads. A two-finger aluminum braking lever is comfortable, durable and features a reach adjust for a customized feel. Magura used their super-lightweight, Carbotecture housing, which uses impact-resistant carbon fiber layup for a stiff, strong and lightweight brake that weighs in at just 275 grams. The Magura MT5e E-bike Brake can be mounted on the left or right side and can be used as a front or rear brake.
