Discover the LMX: The Ultimate Lightweight Electric Moto Cross

Meet the LMX, a groundbreaking dual-sport electric bike that seamlessly merges the agility of a mountain bike with the power of a dirt bike.

LMX doubles as a dirt bike!

Hill Climbing Performance,

Above is a picture of a moto hill climb in which the steepness was at least 60 degrees.  The LMX conquered this climb with a 200 pound plus rider.  The LMX is the first e mtb I’ve been able to summit this climb with.  The photo fails to capture the true steepness of the climb, which the LMX tackled effortlessly.I have had the opportunity to put the LMX through its paces on two occasions.  After the first ride I got with LMX and learned how to change the map settings.  I did this because the unleashed mode of the LMX didn’t allow me to ride the bike like a regular e mountain bike.

After a few trial and error mapping attempts I was able to approximate the assist and effort level of the Yamaha Moro pro levels two and three.

Battery Efficiency

The outcome was remarkable! On a single track ride and distance that typically leaves my Yamaha Moro Pro at 20 percent I was able to significantly complete the route faster, do a gnarly hill climb and still have 40 percent left in the battery.

Motor Noise and Performance

This bike rocks and there are nuances to learn and understand that come with compromise:

  1. The motor noise is fairly loud compared to most E bikes. For 2500 watts of power I for one can live with the decibel increase.
  2. In pedal assist only mode the system prefers not to drop below 8 mph.  I noticed the system can fade significantly when dropping below 6 mph regardless of the torque put to the pedal. I quickly learned to switch to a throttle setting and get the bike up to a mph conducive that the system would output in pedal assist mode only.  The motor system is not married to a variable transmission and is similar to a hub drive with a speed sweet spot for ultimate torque.
  3. Because the bike is so light, has the horsepower to rip up very steep inclines, it has the ability to leave a dirt bike behind on the technical singles.

Conclusion: In conclusion, the LMX redefines 'Light Moto Cross' with its unmatched performance and versatility. Ready to experience the thrill? Try the LMX today and redefine your riding adventures!
